She was born in Clinton, Kentucky on February 27, 1944. The second born to Walter Eugene Townsend and Estelle V. Townsend.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband Robert "Hornet" Sabon and her Brother James Franklin Nance.
Sue is survived by her only daughter, Ginger Keska and her sisters Kathryn Lyndsey, Betty Beulac and Frances Cornelius.
