Nancy Ellen Barlow

Nancy “Nan” was born in Duluth, Minnesota, on June 8, 1928 to Mary Gill Vaughn and Edward Vaughn. Nancy had two older brothers , John and Bill that she adored. Nan grew up in the Phoenix area and graduated from North High School.

She married Glen Barlow on June 6, 1948 and from this union they had 4 boys Dan, Dave, Don and Dean. Nan and Glen later divorced. Nan was a very devoted and loving mother to her four boys. She taught her boys how to fish and drive when they became of age. She enjoyed collecting dolls and was very creative with arts and crafts. She loved to travel and was always ready for an adventure.

She became a loving grandmother and great grandmother to 3 boys. Nan is survived by her 4 sons, Dan of Phoenix, Dave and wife Luann of Loveland, Colorado, Don and wife Margaret of Phoenix and Dean of Tucson, her 7 grandchildren and 3 great grand children. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father and brothers. She will be missed greatly by all her family. Services will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 10:00am.
