Born in Brown City, Michigan on February 5, 1933, Neva Irene Carr, a devout christian, gently passed away on October 14, 2021 as she was surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Neva was preceded in death by her husband of 50-years, Arnold D. Carr. The only daughter of deceased parents, Helen (McWest) and Leland Hagner, and loving sister to brothers, the late Richard (Charlotte) Hagner, the late David Hagner, and Henry (Melody) Hagner.
Neva and Arnold had six children. The late Donald (Dawn) Carr, the late Steven (Beth) Carr, twins, Karen (Tom) Wilton and Susan (John) McAtee, Anna (Jeff) Minhinnick, and Lisa (late Ken) Caudle. Neva was also the proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren with another great-great grandchild due in April 2022.
People who knew Neva, understood her love for making crafty gifts, which she would lovingly give to her family and friends. Neva also enjoyed her three times a week Bingo trips where she would spend the time visiting with her many friends. Neva also loved to shop, a love she passed on to at least three of her four daughters. During these shopping trips, Neva was always on the hunt for a good bargain, which meant more crafty items to add to her already overflowing stash. Neva's love for travel also took her to many places, of which, Hawaii was by far her most favorite destination spot as proof by her almost annual trip to the islands.
Neva will be greatly missed by all who knew her. At Neva's request, funeral services will be held privately.
