Nona Mardell Wright of Phoenix passed away October 5, 2019. She was born June 27, 1950 in Kankakee, Illinois to Robert B. and Ruth M. Wright, the first of four children. Nona was funny and artistic. She loved music, was a talented pianist, studied horticulture and enjoyed reading a wide variety of books.
Nona grew up in Illinois and Michigan, but lived in Phoenix most of her life. She married Richard Gutierrez in 1980 and is survived by her two sons, Anthony Gutierrez and David Gutierrez of Phoenix, who meant the world to her.
