

Norma was born in Phoenix, Arizona on January 23, 1931 at Good Samartain Hospital. She was the only child of Charles and Willie Mae Tarr.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. The most important thing to Norma was her family, she was always willing to make personal sacrifice’s to make sure other family member’s needs were appropriately provided for. Norma also enjoyed many crafts such as knitting and crocheting out of this hobby she was able to provide many people with beautiful handmade gifts. She also enjoyed camping and travel, after retirement she was able to take several cruises, train and camping trip in both North and South America.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, John E Simmons, two children daughter Lorrie Price and husband Jim, son John C. Simmons and wife Linda. Four grandchildren, Kristy Moore and husband Tim, Randy Hangartner and wife Jamie, Steven Simmons, Shelby Simmons and 2 great gradchildren, Tyler Hangartner and Scott Moore.
There will be a Life Celebration for Norma on Friday October 9, 2015 at the Anthem Civic Building (3701 W Anthem Way Anthem, Arizona 85086) at 10:00 am with a memorial service followed by food and refreshments.
