Peggy Eileen Moore Gabriel

Peggy E. Gabriel, 72, of Phoenix, Arizona, went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2010. She was originally from Tomahawk, Kentucky, born on September 13, 1937. Peggy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Nevin, her son Jeff (Cathy), grandsons Jeffrey Jr., and Jared (Tiffany) and two great-grandsons, Nathaniel and Alexander. She grew up in Ohio and was from of family of 12 children. Peggy came to Phoenix early in the 1960's. She is preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Mabel, her sister Penny, her brother Andy and two infant daughters. Peggy was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister-in-law, and an aunt to many nieces and nephews. Along the way of Peggy's life many people became family to her, she had a special place in her heart for everyone she knew. Peggy enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Peggy will be greatly missed; she always had a smile, a hug and a Pepsi for you. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 West Bethany Home Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85013, with the service beginning at 11:00 A.M.. Internment will follow at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Arizona.
