

In remembrance of Randal Lee Clarke, or "Randy" as he was fondly known. A man whose life was filled with both profound achievements and simple joys, we gather to celebrate his legacy. Born on September 24, 1959, in Bloomington, Illinois, Randy brought warmth and laughter into the lives of many until his passing on March 4, 2025, in Gilbert, Arizona, at the age of 65.
Throughout his vibrant life, Randal was the embodiment of a spirit filled with joy and an unfaltering dedication to family. His early years unfolded in Illinois, where he developed a passion for basketball, leaving a mark in the hearts of his teammates and friends. Randal's enthusiasm for life and competitive spirit flourished during his time at the University of Arizona, from where he proudly graduated. It was here that he cultivated a love for his adopted home state of Arizona. This love for sports followed him throughout his life, whether it was cheering on the Arizona Diamondbacks or rooting for his favorite hockey team, the Phoenix Coyotes.
Randy is survived by his children: Reed (Chanell) Clarke, Mt. Juliet, TN; Jordan Clarke, Mesa, AZ. His siblings: Scot (Shannon) Meece, Bloomington, IL; Beth (Michael) Beauford, Bloomington, IL; Kristy (Jim) Fairfield, Normal, IL. Step-Mother: Nancy Clarke; Pontiac, IL. Grandchildren: Story Clarke, Rush Clarke and Abbie Smith. He is preceded by his parents, Roger Clarke, Loretta Meece and Wayne Meece.
Aside from raising his family, Randy worked in the automobile industry for most of his life and enjoyed retirement in the later years. Throughout his life Randy loved taking his kids to sports games or to watch his thoroughbred race horses cross the finish line as winners. This love continued on to his grandkids who he loved to spend time with and hear about all their growing accomplishments. Randy will be deeply missed by all the family and friends he loved so deeply.
Services will include a celebration of life in Scottsdale, AZ on Friday, April 11th from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at 6331 North 83rd Place, Scottsdale, AZ 85250. Burial will take place on June 14, 2025 in Pontiac, IL with his late Father at 11:00am at South Side Cemetery, 400 S. Locust St. Pontiac, IL 61764 with a celebration of life also on that day in Bloomington, IL from 2:00pm to 5:00pm on June 14th at 13544 Whitetail Dr. Bloomington, Il 61705.
