Regina (Schiano) Short, age 71, of Glendale, Arizona passed away June 10, 2012. Regina was born on September 25, 1940 in Long Island, New York to Anthony and Marcel Schiano. She married the love of her life, Sharkey Short, on September 27, 1959 and went on to create a home and family that she adored beyond all else.
Regina joins her parents and beloved sister Josephine (Jaye) Vien. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Sharkey, her brother Dominick Schiano, her children Deborah White, Linda Marvin, Robert Short, David and Kristin Short as well as her grandchildren Curtis Mooney, Benjamin Waltz, Anthony, Amylia and Allyson Short and Stone Soucy. Regina was blessed with great grandchildren Audree, Emery, Haylee and Madilyn.
A memorial service will take place at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley Rd, Phoenix on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 9:00 am. Donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
