

Rejeanne M Hodgkinson 90 of Glendale, Arizona passed away peacefully with her daughters at her bedside on May 13, 2011. She was the daughter of Joseph & Vivian Nalette born January 22, 1921 in Quebec, Canada. Her parents preceded her in death. She moved to Arizona in 1950 where she raised her family , worked and remained until she passed. She was preceded in death by her former husbands, Frederick Lavasser, LeRoy Loupee and Orlando Hodgkinson. Brothers, Fred, Norman, Raymond and Maurice Nalette. Daughter Dorothy Merriwether. She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Weber of Seattle, Washington and Carol Suter of Glendale, Arizona, a sister Lorraine Rockholt of Manchester, New Hampshire and a brother Roland Nalette of San Francisco, California. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She enjoyed frequent visits to Seattle where most of her grandchildren lived. She also has a granddaughter in Peoria, Illinois, a grandson in Great Falls, Montana and fortunate enough to see 2 granddaughters raised in Phoenix. She was an active member of St Jerome's parish and senior citizens center in Phoenix where she enjoyed worship, playing bingo and fellowship. Due to failing health she then made her home with her daughter and son-in-law in Glendale. She spoke fluent French and made many friends through membership in the French club. She was a great lover of dogs, especially her own, Sam & Bailey. She worked at Coca Cola Bottling Co on Central Ave in Phoenix for more that 20 years followed by her employment with Shure Electronics until her retirement. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Our thanks and gratitude to all those at Upon the Rock Assisted Living and Hospice of the Valley. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Jerome's Catholic Church, 10815 N. 35th Ave. on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 10:00 am. Inurnment will be held at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Arizona Humane Society, 1521 W. Dobbins Road, Phoenix, AZ 85041 in her memory. The Lord loves me with unfailing passion and will never release me from His tender care. He has promised me on His oath that He will protect me forever.
