Richard L. Lerner

Richard (Dick) Lerner loving husband and father of five and grandfather of eight passed away on October 30, 2020. He enjoyed 86 years of life. Dick was husband of Bev Lerner, son of George and Thelma Lerner who proceeded him in death.

In his early years he spent time in both New York and Arizona. He attended the University of Arizona where he graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering.

Dick and Bev had five children, George Lerner, Michelle (Fred) Witte, Charlene (Al JR) Wynn, Carrie (Jason) Leljedal, Brian (Alison)Zorn. He took great pride in his eight grandchildren Lynn Ray JR, Becky Crompton, Michael Ray, Jeren Hernandez, Doria Schmidt, Isabel Zorn, Jack Zorn and Sarah Witte.

He was always very active with the AZ Macintosh Users Group; He was the current president of the HOA for El Caro Villas. He enjoyed retirement by traveling to see his grandchildren. To escape the hot Arizona summer, Dick would be a reverse snowbird and spend summers in Wilmington, North Carolina.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in the honor of Dick Lerner to Clinton Manor Living Center DD Activity Fund. P.O. Box 19 New Baden, Il 62265.

Services will be at held on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020 with a viewing at 10:30 AM and the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Services will be at Greenwood Memory Lawn Serenity Chapel 719 N 27th Ave Phoenix, Arizona.
