I had the very great privilege to work for Rich from 1999-2000 at Old Republic Title. He had such an magnificent heart, which in my experience overflowed with generosity, even to a new-hire he had to break-in. That year at Old Republic was the most wonderful of my working life, and Rich was right at the heart of this. Bless him.

I worked with Rich for the last 5 years and I will remember his love of laughter, his countless stories of the early days, and his easy-going manner. He always had a story for me about how IT has changed over the years. He was always very gracious and will be missed dearly. My thoughts go out to his family during this tough time.

Rich and I met shortly after I started at Minnesota Title. So I guess you could say we "grew up" together in this industry.  There is a common theme amongst the posts here...Rich was never too busy to explain something or teach someone.  His patience was admirable and his laughter always made me smile.  I have fond memories of conversations with him about the company picnics and spending time with friends and family. Thank you Mary and the family for sharing him with us for these many years.  We were blessed to have him as part of the Old Republic family.

My Condolences to you, Mary and your family. It's been a difficult day, today,coming back to the office and not seeing Rich. His knowledge was amazing, I learned so much from him. I will deeply miss him.

My sincere condolences on your loss.  Rich will be fondly remembered by all who were blessed to have known him.  I appreciated his sense of humor and also all that I have learned about title from him.  He had a way of explaining answers to questions that informed without belittling - truly a special guy.

Back and forth to Arizona and California no matter what I could always count on Rich for help. Laughs, frustrations, support and especially guidence. It is with heavy heart we have to say good bye. You were an amazing person to work with and an amazing person to share your life with us. I will miss your stories and admire the love you had for your family.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Rich's passing.  He was a trusted colleague and friend.  I often learned from him and always admired how well he interacted with others.  I smile as I think back on our frequent lunches, our occasional golf games and, over the years, the regular updates he shared regarding Bethany, Nick, Angie and, later on, his beloved grandkids.

I relied on him professionally and often learned from him. Thank you for sharing "your" Rich with us at ORT.  He was a wonderful man with a gentle heart who took pride in educating us whenever able.  I will certainly miss him dearly.

Every conversation with Rich was always a learning and laughing experience. He had a great sense if humor and a big heart. I will miss our chats.

I worked with rich for 14 years, he was one of the good ones, he will be missed, our prayers go out to Mary and the family.

I worked with Rich at Old Republic Title for 2 years and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to have known him. He was always so kind and respectful towards me and I truly appreciated his genuine quality. I enjoyed listening to his stories about the early years in the Title Industry. Rich was good man and will be missed. My condolences go out to his family.

We are really going to miss Rich.  He was such a gentle, caring, generous soul.  He loved life, his family and his job. I loved hearing his stories about life in title in the 70's and 80's, including the bellbottoms he wore to work on his first day in 1973.  My condolences to his family.  He was one of the good ones.

Rich was always patient with a green escrow officer's questions.  I don't remember him ever being anything but kind and welcoming when I'm certain he would have rather told me to go away.   He was just such a dear, dear man.   My prayers are for comfort for Mary and the family.

I only knew Rich for about 6 months from work. I sat next to him in the title department. We would talk about how we were both from New York and our families are both Italian. He was a gentle soul and always talked about his grandchildren. He really was an amazing person. I will miss his presence. My love goes to his family.

My condolences for all of the family. Great pictures that were shared, showed what a great life he had and shared with family and friends. May he rest in peace.

Rich will be missed so very much, I will miss calling him with my "title" problem and no matter how busy he was he always took the time and had an answer!

It was a privilege to have known Rich.  I'll miss our conversations in the breakroom and listening to his stories about his wonderful family and old stories of life back in New York.  He truly was a gentle soul, wonderful person and great cook.  My deepest condolences to Mary and her family.

I only got to speak with Rich for about a year and a half but could tell he cared about what he did and his help and knowledge was tremendous, he will be missed.

Richard was the best brother anyone could ask for- I was blessed more than anyone to have him in my life- I'm thankful there was never anything we couldn't say to each other and every time we spoke or saw each other we said I love you- and I'll say that every night in my prayers for the rest of my life
