

After graduating high school, Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969 during the Vietnam era. While serving, he performed with great courage and distinction, earning the Bronze Star Medal on December 22, 1968, in the Republic of Vietnam. The citation reads: “For heroism in connection with military operations against a hostile force, Specialist 4 Graul distinguished himself by heroic actions on 22 December 1968 while serving as a mortarman with Company E, 4th Battalion, 9th Infantry, in the Republic of Vietnam.” His bravery and devotion to his fellow soldiers exemplified the very best of American service.
In 1986, Bob married the love of his life, Allison Page Dwyer-Graul, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories. They were later blessed with three sons, Jason, Joseph, and Robert Leroy who were his greatest pride and joy.
Bob worked in construction throughout his life, building homes and working on job sites with dedication and skill. He took pride in his craftsmanship and in creating work that would stand strong for generations.
Outside of work, Bob loved spending time with his family. A devoted Arizona Diamondbacks fan, he especially cherished attending games with his sons, sharing his love of baseball and creating moments that will be treasured forever.
Bob is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Allison. They will be laid to rest together at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona reunited in eternal peace.
Bob will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, and the kindness he showed to everyone who knew him. He leaves behind his sons, Jason and Joseph, along with many cherished family members and friends who will miss him deeply.
Forever loved, never forgotten.
