Robert, 53, went home to God to be with his twin sister, Robin on July 28, 2013 in Phoenix, AZ from an illness that surprised all who knew him. He is survived by Peter Escalante, sister, Lisa Kovac (Mark, Jaime, Britney, Raechel), Wanda Glidden, John Patchen (Cody, Tyia, Sonja), Pete Duffner, David Farner, Albert Escalante, Larry Escalante (Daisy, Frank, Kevin, Kim). Alann Escalanta (Michelle, Nevaeh), Felicia Escalante (Edgar, Xavier, Abrey, Madeline), Sandra Zeller, coworkers at Cardio Vascular Consultant, LTD., especially Linda Ellis and his many friends. To know Robert is to like him, even if he upsets you by his directness. Services will be held at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Ave in Phoenix.
