Today is the birthday of one of my coolest friends ever. It is ok that I still miss you every day because it means I was fortunate enough to have known you, though of course not long enough...

Dear Wong Family,
I always enjoyed talking to Ron whenever I saw him. He always had a great attitude towards eveerything that we would talk about and was filled with a lot of knowledge on sports. We are saddened to hear about your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you guys.

I had the pleasure of working with Ron when he was still with the State Archives.  There were hours we spent in the Capitol basement stacking bound newspapers.  It was an unpleasant task but was made much better by Ron's cheerfulness.  I missed him when he left Archives but enjoyed seeing him at the Capitol Museum and the Carnegie Center.  Ron's presence improved everyone's day.

I always knew that Ron had a large family and that he enjoyed spending time with his family from the pictures he shared with me.  I just didn't realize how large his extended family was until the day of the funeral.  I was his co-worker at the Capitol for 15 years, and our friendship grew as the years went by - continuing for 4+ years after I had to quit work.  He was a caring, loving, gentleman to all that knew him,  and he gave me much needed encouragement and support when I felt all alone and was enduring numerous surgeries.  He was my "sunshine".  I won't forget him, and know that our bond hasn't ended just because his physical body has ended.  Love you Ron!

Thank you God for sharing Ron with all of us, he will be deeply missed. For the short time I was at the Capitol, I enjoyed my conversations with him, always positive and caring. I'm happy that he was the one to rescue my cat and give him a home, what a good man.

Ron.  Just got back from seeing you for the last time for a while.  You had a great support group and family around you.  I will miss you my friend and your great conversation at the reference desk.

Condolences to the Wong Family
I will miss Ron at Social and Sporting Events.  He will always take the time to talk to you about current events, sports and Food. Always smiling no matter how bad it is.

Ronnie was such a wonderful cousin that always took the time to catch up with me during visits home and seemed to always tell me something funny that left me with a smile.  I will miss Ronnie very much.  Please take care; all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Ron was a wonderful guy.  I've known him for more than 20 years as a "regular" at the Batters Box.  He was always interested in how everyone else was doing.  I loved hearing him refer to cards as "gems."  I never heard him say an unkind word to or about anyone.  I am very saddened by his passing and my prayers are with the Wong family.

My sincere condolences to the Wong family, the holidays will be rough this yr but just talk about all your memories of Ron. He was a very special and dear person and was a great working partner and a lot of fun. He was very caring and treated everyone as a friend. I'll miss him very much.

Ron loved talking with people- especially about sports and "the good 'ol days" when life was much simpler.   We were all blessed to have known Ron, but his family and loved ones were doubly blessed because they spent the most time with him.

Ron, thank you for all of the interesting stories and conversations.  Also, thank you for helping others in a quiet, humble and caring way.
