It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Roxanna M Vacca on November 15, 2024, in Phoenix, AZ. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and friend to all. Roxanna was born on September 27, 1932, in Detroit, MI., the 1st of 3 siblings. She was married for 73 years to the love of her life, Neil. She raised two sons, David and Steven. She worked for Montgomery Ward, Sears, Madison Elementary School, Paradise Valley School District, and Paradise Valley Baptist Retirement Center, retiring in 1994. She did volunteer work at schools, was a Scout Leader, Campfire (Bluebird) Leader, taught Sunday School, and was active in her church, Desert Foothills. She is survived by Son and Daughter In-Law Steve and Gabi, Grandkids Gabby and Zsolt. She was preceded in death by her husband Neil, Son David, Mother and Father Elizabeth and Frank, and Brothers Edwin and Johnny. Funeral services will be held on December 10, 2024, at 1 PM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 2929 E Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024. In lieu of flower donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
