Ruby Duran-Smith born Sept. 4, 1950 passed away Aug. 15, 2010 after a two and a half year battle with cancer. Ruby loved her family and friends. Ruby was a very strong lady. She minimized all difficulties past & present. Cancer was more of a hindrance than a focal point. She worked around it and through it. Her smile was infectious & unforgettable. Ruby is survived by her husband, Chad, her son Michael, and preceded in death by her daughter, Heather. Ruby is survived by her sisters Rachel & Inez and her brothers Robert & Larry. Ruby is survived by various aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and various other family extensions. She had many friends at Arizona Dept. of Transportation & American Express. Services are to be held Saturday August 21st at 11:00 A.M. at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary at 200 W. Beardsley Rd.
