Ruth Doris Thomas, 81, was born on December 5, 1932 in Willow Lake, South Dakota to Martha and George Nogelmeier and passed away in Phoenix, Arizona on January 27, 2014. She was predeceased by her husband, William J. Thomas. She is survived by her children, Debra L. Stimpson (Dave), Steve A. Hagan, Charles H. Hagen (Rhondi), Valerie A. Plamondon (Rob) and Wayne Thomas (Mary Jo). Visitation will be held at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix, on Monday, February 3, 2014 from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. followed by a graveside burial, where she will be placed with her husband at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.
