He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Vivian Lloyd Rabun; his son Matthew (wife Jenny); his mother Nancy Horvath (husband Michael); His brother Christopher (wife Amanda), and sister Michelle. He is preceded in death by his father Billie Rabun, and his grandparents Bereniece and Roy Guderyahn; and Bose and Delia Rabun.
Scott spent his entire career in the retail industry. First with Kmart, later with Petsmart, and most recently, with Petsense. He was active in the Boy Scouts for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hiking and marathons; loved Sunday football. He was a husband, a father, a friend, and a mentor. He touched and brightened more lives than any of us can truly know with his contagious smile and positive outlook. He will also be deeply missed by all who knew him.
There will be a celebration of life for Scott on March 19, at the home of Todd and Marci Dunn. 3818 W. Peoria Ave, Phoenix from 4-6 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come share their memories of Scott.
