

Sharon Pritchard, born on March 11, 1947, passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 78. Known for her compassionate, gentle, and hard-working nature, Sharon was a loyal and resilient individual who touched the lives of many with her honesty, generosity, and selflessness. Her kind-hearted spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Sharon graduated from North High School and went on to have a distinguished career. She served as the past president of the Midtowners Business Professional Women's Group and worked for APS in human resources for 26 years, where her dedication and commitment were highly valued.
She was married to David for 58 years and was a devoted mother to her daughter Kelly and her late daughter Heather Greer. Sharon was also a loving grandmother to Melike Surmen and cherished her feline fur babies.
In her personal life, Sharon enjoyed reading and attending sporting events. She was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, Arizona Cardinals, and Arizona Roadrunners. Her passion for collecting antiques was well-known among her friends and family. Sharon was also a brave survivor of colon cancer and lived with multiple sclerosis.
Sharon was deeply involved in her community, generously donating to many animal shelters and women’s sober living facilities. Her style and sweetness were often remarked upon, as everyone said she was so cool and dressed so nicely.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Hospice of the West, Encompass Rehab Facility, and Byada Home Care for their support and care.
A Celebration of Life will be held at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary, located at 710 W Bethany Home Rd, AZ, on November 1, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
In Sharon's own words, she wished to thank her friends and family who loved her. Her legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know her.
