Shirley was born in Parsons, Kansas and spent much of her young life traveling to wherever her father found work as a plumber and business entrepreneur. She married the love of her life Arthur George Locker in 1952. After living in Kansas and Louisiana for a number of years, they moved to their forever home in Phoenix, AZ in the early 1960s, along with their two children. Shirley loved being a drum majorette in her youth and her lifelong interests included dancing, bowling, being a homemaker and above all else her children, who she was fiercely protective of. Shirley, and Arthur were the quintessential suburban, middle-class couple who raised their children with traditional American values and taught them to be kind, polite, empathetic, and trustworthy. She supported, guided and cherished her kids until the day she passed. She will be greatly missed. Shirley is survived by her kids Laura, and Roy (Debra), her Grandkids Justin, Lindsay (Kenny), and Jeremy, and her two great Grandsons Bryson and Carter.
