Silvia George, of Surprise, Arizona passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at the age of 77. She was born on April 15, 1947 in Uzdin, Yugoslavia, where she grew up. Silvia moved to the United States in 1974 where she started her family in New York.
Silvia was a wonderful mother and dedicated wife to her family. Silvia is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, brother, and son. She is survived by her daughter Korina; her sister Viorika Getejanc; and her former husband Koriolan George.
A visitation for Silvia will be held Sunday, March 16, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027. A graveside service will occur Monday, March 17, 2025 at 10:00 AM also at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary.
