Steve was born and raised in Carteret, NJ and graduated from Carteret HS 1958. He became Director of the family business, “Torok Electric Co.” He later joined the United States Army and received an honorable discharge in 1965.
Steve, along with his brother Dennis and Mom moved to Glendale, AZ in 1989, where he became an award-winning certified Master Auto Technician employed by several Automobile Dealerships in the Phoenix area.
Steve and Dennis were avid hunters and NRA members. They were also NASCAR enthusiasts. A lover of sports, his favorite teams were his beloved NY Yankees and NY Jets. They attended many Super Bowl games.
He is predeceased by his parents Steve and Helen Torok and his brothers Dennis Torok and Robert Torok. He is survived by his sister Arlene Geise of Miami, FL and brother Tom Torok of Merchantville, NJ, also nieces and nephews
A funeral mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church, Glendale, AZ on September 2, 2021 at 10:00 am
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association.
