

Terry accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and was baptized at Our Lady of Solace Catholic Church. He attended Englewood High School where he met his first wife Filura Nicholson in 1965. To that union a daughter, Michele Frances, was born.
A brief loving courtship produced a second daughter, Benita Andreá, in 1968.
Terry began his career at Miles Laboratories in 1966 as a stock handler, working his way up to shift supervisor. He was blessed to retire at the age of 50 after 30 years of celebrated service.
While working at Miles, Terry met the love of his life Peggy Skaggs. Their years together have been spent traveling and enjoying life to the fullest. After their retirement in 1996, they relocated to Phoenix, AZ in search of warmer temperatures an sunny skies. They solidified their 40+ year relationship by getting married on April 9, 2010.
In 2000, Terry “The Hat” became a member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He dedicated his life to the program, becoming a tireless servant and assisting countless individuals. He shared his story in the prisons, the shelters, conventions and meetings small and large.
Terry is preceded in death by his father Earle Sr., mother Ruby, brothers Earle Jr., and Glenn and sister Ruby. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Peggy: two daughters Michelle and Benita (Sheldon); four grandsons Marcus, Justus, Frederick II, and Sheldon James; three brothers Richard (Ann), Emmons (Olivia) and John (Mary); three sisters Patricia, Janice and Rosemary; many nieces, nephews and a host of loving relatives and friends.
