EN EL CUIDADO DE
Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary & Cemetery
With deepest sorrow, we announce that our brother, Thomas Martin Romano, passed on Nov. 13, 2021. He had a sudden cardiac arrest and passed at Hospice of the Valley in Scottsdale, AZ. He was 67 years of age.
Tom was born on Oct. 4, 1954 in Somerville, NJ. His parents were Michael J and Virginia S. Romano, both from the Central New Jersey area. They raised Tom and his surviving two brothers Michael B. and James A, in Somerset, NJ. Tom attended St. Joseph’s HS in Metuchen, NJ and Villanova University in Villanova, PA. He enjoyed a successful career in Sales & Marketing Management in the greater NY Metro area. In early 1990’s, Tom moved to the Phoenix, AZ area where he worked and lived the rest of life.
Tom enjoyed various passions in his free time. He loved Formula One Racing and the automotive industry in general. He was very proud to own a vintage Mazda Miata sports car. He was also a pretty darn good free-lance painter. Tom also followed sports and in his earlier days was a very competitive athlete. He owned and loved three Afghan Hounds over the span of his adult life until his passing.
Tom was survived by his two brothers and their families as well as his best friend, Cassandra Cook, and her extended family, of Scottsdale, AZ. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. There will be a private service celebrating Tom’s life for immediate friends and family, date to be determined.
