Tom was born in 1961 in Milwaukee Wisconsin, the sixth child of Joe and Linda Vance. He was born a child with Down Syndrome and was the light of the family. In 1978, after the older children flew the nest, Joe and Linda retired to Arizona with Tom. Tom went to high school in Phoenix and then got an apartment of his own with another Down Syndrome man, Tommy. Tom and Tommy were best friends and roommates. Tom loved his life in Phoenix and loved the Diamondbacks! He played golf with his brothers in law and sisters. Tom is survived by his older sisters, Patricia (Albert) from Florida and Diane (Daniel) from Wales, UK, Aunt Loretta Mattson (Goldie) Alaska. Tom was Uncle to Gavin, Bailey, Spencer and Casey and Great Uncle to Rileigh, Landon, Mia, Emily and Freddie.
