A Vietnam Veteran, Thurman answered the call to serve his country with courage and honor. He enlisted in the United States Air Force. His time in uniform shaped a lifelong sense of duty, resilience, and brotherhood that never left him.
A warrior for Christ, Thurman lived his faith boldly and without apology. He was an Arizonan Indian cowboy, a biker on fire for the Lord, and a man who carried both grit and grace. His walk with God was not quiet, it was lived out loud, grounded in conviction and love.
Above all, Thurman was a beloved Husband, survived by his loving wife of 54 years Edna Collins, Father to 4 children, GranDad to 30+ grandchildren and great grandchildren, a buddy to everyone! His smile, tricks, and jokes filled his family’s hearts with laughter and peace. The love he shared and the lives he touched stand as a lasting testimony to the man he was.
As we honor Thurman’s life and legacy, we give thanks to God for every moment we were blessed to have him. His faith, service, strength, and humor will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
