

Allene graduated from Redlands University with a degree in teaching and later got her Master’s Degree. She taught in the public school system in California and Missouri before coming to Arizona in 1971 and started Northwest Christian Academy where she had a great influence on teachers, students and their families. She retired 30 years later.
She was actively involved in Sweetwater Church of the Valley for 35 years and then served as greeter at Evangel Assembly of God. She made hundreds of hats to send to the mission field as well as quilts for children in foster care.
Allene was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Velta Foster; her sister and brother-in-law Ella and Bob Wright; her brother and sister-in-law Glenn and Darlene Foster. She is survived by her nephews Gerald (Beverly) Wright and David Foster; her nieces Donna (Kem) Kough, Pauline Eddy, and Connie (Don) Graber. She has a lot of great nephews and nieces and great great nephews and nieces.
She lived her life showing grace and kindness to all. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 W. Beardsley Rd, Phoenix, AZ on December 1, 2022 at 1:30pm. Interment to follow at Phoenix Memorial Park.
