Veronica Stewart

Veronica Ann “Ronnie” (Nee Ventriera) Stewart age 88 of Phoenix, passed away peacefully on Thursday November 8, 2012. She was born September 23rd 1924 in Long Island City, N.Y. daughter of Anthony and Elizabeth Ventriera. Veronica was the wife of the late Harold John Stewart. Veronica is survived by her 2 children, Anthony Stewart and Paula Schultz, son-in-law Robert Schultz, and daughter-in-law Ursula Miller, 3 grandchildren Brenda Kent, Corinne Olson and Amanda Stewart and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth Ranieri.

She was a member of VFW-9400 Sunnyslope, AZ, and President of Ladies Auxiliary 2000 - 2001. Veronica was also a member of the American Legion Post 75, Elks Lodge 335 and Fun City Survivors.

Loved by many friends and family she will be greatly missed. Friends may call from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2012 at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary 200 West Beardsley Rd., Phoenix, Arizona; Funeral Service will be held at Phoenix Memorial at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012.
