

Born on December 28, 1964, Victor was the eldest of five children to Francisco Plascencia and Martha Zaragoza. His early years were spent traveling between CD Guzmán, Jalisco, Mexico, and California, as his parents worked as migrant workers. At the age of 18 in Mexico is he met his first wife and the mother of his four children.
For several years, Victor was a self-employed driver for Mission Foods working his own route. He later moved to Colorado to be with his four boys and taking a landscaping position and looking for new adventures.
Victor had a deep love for physical outdoor activities, hiking, and exploring new places. He especially enjoyed traveling to parks and landmarks with his second wife, Sandra. Together, they shared a passion for visiting the small, charming towns in Mexico known as "Pueblos Mágicos”
Although Victor didn't watch much TV, he was a passionate soccer fan and a loyal follower of his favorite team, “America”. He also loved music, especially karaoke and mariachis he was a very entertaining performer and singer. His hobby for photography is what he enjoyed the most and was extremely passionate about not to mention how amazingly talented he was.. he was also a great painter , he left many of his paintings with family that are now hanging in many living rooms.
Family was paramount to Victor. He loved and cherished his four boys with all his life and held them close to his heart. He also had a special inseparable bond with his siblings. A cherished tradition was the annual reunion of the “Zaragoza Family”, held to celebrate his grandmother's birthday, “mama Vito” where the WHOLE family would gather to enjoy traditional food and share laughs and singing . He also enjoyed the simple pleasure of having a beer every once in a while with his sisters.
Victor is survived by his wife, Sandra; his parents, Francisco and Martha; his four sons, Victor Jr., Issac , Ivan and Edgar his siblings, Aida, Alma, Jesse and Karen; and his grandchildren, Makayla, Victor III, Scarlett, Olivia; He also leaves behind 14 loving uncles and aunts which he considered his siblings as well he’s also leaving many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by mama Vito & papa Lolo.
A Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 at Maryvale Chapel.
