Virginia (Aragon) Salazar, 80, passed away September 16, 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born September 14, 1936 to Frank and Genevia Aragon in Litchfield Park, Arizona. She worked, for a time, at the UHaul Corporation but more importantly loved taking care of her grandchildren and gardening. Virginia’s caring, kind, and loving heart will be cherished by Raymond, her husband of 60 years; seven children Raymond Jr. (Audra), Guy (Barbara), Chris (Tami), Victoria (Tyler); Frank (Crystal), Daniel (Nancy), and Jefferey (Amber); 31 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; one sister Alma Brown; and other relatives and friends years. Visitation will be held 9:00am, Friday, September 23. 2016 in the Serenity Chapel at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85009 followed by Funeral Services at 10:00am. Interment will then follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery. The Salazar family will hold a reception in Virginia’s honor, following the Interment, at Garcia’s Mexican Food Restaurant, 2212 N. 35th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85009 from 11:00am to 4:00pm.
