98 of Phoenix passed away peacefully at his home, on April 25, 2012. He was born on Jan. 23 1914 in Norwalk, Ohio. He married his high school sweetheart Arion G. Piper on Aug. 27, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio. Wells moved his family west in 1949 to Coolidge, AZ to help with his parents Real Estate/Insurance business, during that time he served as President of the Pinal County Development Board where he helped develop the "Pinal Pioneer Parkway" and was instrumental in establishing the "Apache Land" movie set in Apache Junction. He was a past member of the Masonic Lodge, Kiwanis and Lions Clubs. Wells was preceded in death by his wife Arion of 69 years, son Glenn, grandsons Aaron & Christopher. He is survived by his sons Wells Jr. Bruce {Pat}, Richard (Cheryl}, Robert {Pearl}, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
