Wilbur Lester Kimmell, 88, of Phoenix passed away peacefully on July 11, 2012. He was born to Myrtle and Harry Kimmell on September 17, 1923 at the Dony Sheppard Farm in Liberty, AZ. He was a farmer and rancher prior to a long career as a real estate broker and investor. He was a strong believer in the value of family and education. Most of all, Wilbur was a kind, loving and generous man and will be dearly missed by all who knew him (including his buddies at the coffee shop). He is survived by his loving wife, Emily; his two daughters, Georgana and Karen ; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, July 15, 2012, at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd., Phoenix, starting at 6:00 PM. Trisagion will begin at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 16th, 2012, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1973 E. Maryland Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85016 beginning at 10:00 AM.
