William "Bill" Morris Hegler was born May 20, 1938, in Ajo, Arizona. He was called home by the Lord April 16, 2013, in Phoenix, Arizona. Bill was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a retired teacher who taught at El Mirage Elementary School, as well as a basketball and football coach at Dysart High School. He is survived by his wife Sheila; daughters Toi Hegler and Toni Helm; son Bill Hegler; grandson Matthew Helm; son-in-law Charles Helm; sister Valencia Dodd, and nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Bill's life will be held Monday, May 20th, at 11:00 a.m. at North Phoenix Baptist Church, 5757 North Central Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85012, with a reception to follow.
