Jim Stites 74, passed away from lung cancer on November 30th, in Phoenix, AZ. He was born on November 17th, 1940 in Coolidge CA, and grew up in Exeter, CA. He enjoyed working on old cars, panning for gold, and fishing. He was a Vietnam veteran with 21 years of service in the US Navy and Air Force retiring at Luke AFB in 1980. He was a son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend and is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty, his children Karen and Jim, his grandchildren Chris and Melissa, his brother Charles Stites of Exeter CA, and several nieces and nephews. A private service will be held at the Veteran’s Cemetery on Dec 22nd.
