Greenville, SC – Mrs. Annell Gibson Stegall, age 90, left to be with her Lord and Savior on August 2, 2020. Mrs. Stegall was born in Pickens County, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Edward Lee Gibson and Pauline Raines Gibson. She was married to the late Charles Stegall.
Survivors include her only son Stanley Stegall (Andrea) from Simpsonville, South Carolina and grandchildren September Crawford (James) from Greenville, South Carolina and Rushton Stegall (Beki) from Greenville, South Carolina. Also surviving are the loving and precious great grandchildren Roland, Eli, Sully and Easton. She is survived by brothers Jim Gibson and Bob Gibson and sisters Carolyn Nix and Mary Aiken.
Mrs. Stegall was predeceased by one brother Curtis Gibson.
Mrs. Stegall was a long time member of Monaghan Baptist Church. She absolutely loved and adored children. She was known to always have candy in her purse for the children at church. Mrs. Stegall was devoted to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family will remember her for her love of chocolate. The grandchildren will always remember the tradition of leaving Mama’s with their bag of goodies from her pantry. She loved her family.
