Betty Jean Griffin

Mrs. Griffin was born in Six Mile South Carolina on March 23,1950 to the late Tommy and Veda Smith Grant. She worked at ARA Food Service and attended Open Praise Fellowship Church. Mrs. Griffin enjoyed making crafts, coloring, going to yard sales. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mrs. Griffin is survived by her three children: Barry Griffin (Jennifer) of Pickens, South Carolina, Benji Griffin (Stacey) of Liberty South Carolina, and Barbara Pilgrim (Tony) of Liberty South Carolina; two grandchildren: Payton Griffin and Kole Griffin; three brothers: David Grant ( Ollie Mae), Asa Grant (Jean), Ernest Grant (Linda).

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Bruce Griffin; four sisters:Drucilla Durham, Sybil Edmonds, Nancy Patterson, and Lila Moore; two brothers: Billy Grant and Robert Grant

Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM on Friday June 2, 2023, in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM on Friday, prior to the service at Dillard Funeral Home.
