Christine Webb Shepard, age 70, wife of Rev. Glenn Shepard went to be with Lord Wednesday January 21, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Shepard was born in Waynesville, NC, a daughter of the late Ethel Ree Haney Webb and Abe Candler Webb.
Mrs. Shepard was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a devoted Christian mother.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, one daughter; Syrena Shepard Moon (Robert) of Lexington, SC, one son; Marvin Shepard (Angie) of Lyman, Steve Gouge (Stacy) of Marietta, two grandchildren; Corie Caldwell (Andrew), Preslee Hilton (John),two great grandchildren; Abbi and Hayden all of Greer.
Visitation will be Friday January 23, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Dillard Home Funeral. Funeral Service will be Saturday 3:00pm January 24, 2015 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Parker officiating.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
The family will be at the home.
