Easley – Mr. David Alan Gray, Age 57, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. Mr. Gray was born in Muskegon, Michigan and is the son of Mr. Art Gray and Pat Koehler Gray and husband to Jane Bushen Gray.
Survivors include a grandmother Iva Koehler from Salem, Oregon, sons Ryan Gray (Joanna) from Easley, South Carolina, Randy Gray (Melina) from Williamston, South Carolina, Jeremy Gray (Charlie Russo) from New Port Richey, Florida, Jordan Gray from Travelers Rest, South Carolina, Joseph Gray from Greenville, South Carolina and a daughter Olivia Gray from Greenville, South Carolina. He is survived by his precious five day old and first grandchild Alayna Grace Gray. Also surviving is a brother Jamie Gray (RaChel) from Sparta, Michigan and a sister Marci Gray from Fremont, Michigan.
Mr. Gray served as a bi-vocational pastor who loved his Lord and family. He was employed with Bob Jones University Press. He was known by his family to be a handyman and he knew and worked some in construction. Loving his family kept him very busy. He was so proud to be able to hold his first grandchild and even was able to assist in bottle feedings. His prayers were answered when he was able to hold his granddaughter at three days old. Mr. Gray was a member of Gideon Baptist Church and he loved his congregation there. Mr. Gray was also know by his friends to be a jokester.
