David was born to the late Yancey Milledge Turner and Alice Porter Turner. He retired from Michelin Tire Corporation and was an avid hunter and golfer.
David was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Toni Barrett Turner.
David is survived by three sisters; Carolyn Kaye (Roy), Martha Henderson (Ronnie), and Becky Merck (David).
A visitation for David will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm at Dillard Memorial Funeral Home, 2402 Gentry Memorial Highway, Pickens, South Carolina, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm.
