Frances Duncan Greene, 88, of Pickens and wife of the late William C. Greene went to be with her Lord on Monday November 13, 2017 at Rainey Hospice House. She is the daughter of the late Esley M Duncan and Hattie N Nix. Mrs. Greene is a member of East Pickens Baptist Church and the Welcome Sunday School Class. She retired as a nurse at Cannon Memorial Hospital as well as several doctors in the surrounding area. After retirement she volunteered with the Hospital auxiliary. Survivors include one daughter; Charlotte Crowther and her husband Ben of Pickens, South Carolina, a daughter in law; Denise Greene of Easley, South Carolina and a sister; Eloise Haire of Rock Hill South Carolina. She also leaves three grandchildren and five great grandchildren to share in her memory. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, a son Robert Greene, eight brothers and one sister. A visitation will be held Friday November 17, 2017 from 10am until 11 am at Dillard Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at held Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens immediately following visitation. Dillard Funeral Home is assisting the Greene Family.
