Mr. Furman Lawrence Bryson

Mr. Bryson was born on October 14, 1945, in Pickens County, South Carolina, to the late Thomas L. and Edith Fowler Bryson. He was of the baptist faith. Mr. Bryson enjoyed working with heavy equipment with Kings Asphalt Company. He loved to be outdoors fishing, hunting, or taking long motorcycles rides.

Mr. Bryson is survived by his wife Edith Bryson; children: Joey Bryson (Kristy), Benny Bryson, Kimberly Bryson, Rickey Holcombe (Stacie), James Holcombe (Rhonda), Wayne Holcombe, and Lynn Harbin (Jeremey); grandchildren: Addison, Malary, Katelyn, Dillon, Cole, Lucas, Dalton, Jacob, Cameron, Courtney, Cory, Sabrina, Blake, Ethan, Hayley, Tommy, Tyler, and Jamie; fourteen great grandchildren; and one brother Billy Bryson.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bryson was preceded in death by his siblings: Marie Merck, Nellie Mulligan, Glenda Smith, Ardell Bryson, Namon Bryson, Winfred Bryson,R.G. Bryson, Charles Bryson, Rev. L.V. Bryson and Dorothy Fowler.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the Six Mile Retirement, Assisted Living Home, and Agape Hospice Group for their compassionate care of Mr. Bryson.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 12:45 PM on Friday September 19, 2025, in the Garden Room at Dillard Funeral Home.

The funeral will follow the receiving of friends in the Chapel at 1:00 PM.

The burial will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
