Gary Lee King, 62, of Easley, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Florence, SC, he was the son of the late Maxwell and Eleanor Scott King. He was a member of Peters Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed building projects and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Susan Chastain King; two sons, Gary Lee King, Jr. and Jefferson Davis King; one brother, James King; one sister, Susan Smith; five grandchildren, Talitha King, Jefferson Davis King, Jr., Maxwell King, Keilah King, and Aydan King; three step-grandchildren, Ty Phillips, Landon Robertson and Kenleigh Harris. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
