Mr. Gene Williams

Gene was born in Macon, Georgia on July 8, 1938 to the late John H. and Mary Dean Pritchett Williams. He was very involved at his church, Brushy Creek Baptist Church, where he served as Treasurer for over 20 years and was a member of the Senior Adult Ministries. Gene was also an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan and Atlanta Braves fan. His greatest joy, though, was his family. Gene loved his wife, adored his children and grandchildren, and loved spending time with his family.

Mr. Williams is survived by his loving wife of 37 years: Glenda R. Williams; four children: Suzy Roche (Jeff) of Perth, Australia, Toni Sano (George) of Anaheim, CA, Lynn Davis of Easley, SC, and Jeff Williams of Greenwood, SC; five grandchildren: Nathan WIllingham, Shelby Willingham, Jenny Ogle (Dylan), Christopher Nuckolls (Laura), and Steven Davis.

In addition to his parents, Gene was preceded in death by one daughter: Tonya Nuckolls; and three siblings: John H. Williams Jr., Robert A. Williams, and Peggy W. Huckabee.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Brushy Creek Baptist Church. 100 Clay St. Easley, SC 29642. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service.
