Harry was born on February 17, 1944, in Greenville County. He was the son of the late Harry McCoy Turner, Sr. and Elsie McAlister Turner. Harry owned and operated Turner's Grading in Greenville, SC. He enjoyed fishing with his fishing buddy, Tom Holcombe, their furry friend, Rascal, and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Wanda Holcombe Turner; one son, Wade Turner (Karen); one brother, Ronnie Turner (Paula); three granddaughters, Marissa Sigmon (Travis), Abigayle Turner and Grace Turner, and two great-grandsons, Kaden Sigmon and Blaine Sigmon. Along with is parents, Harry was also preceded in death by one brother, Doug Turner.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, from 2:15 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Reverend Allen Longino officiating.
