Mr. James Ralph Leslie

Mr. Leslie was born in Pickens, South Carolina on May 10, 1937, to the late Elton and Dola Mae Brown Leslie. He was a faithful member of Trinity Church of God. Mr. Leslie enjoyed singing, playing his guitar, watching the Atlanta Braves, Clemson football. He also loved coaching his children in baseball when they were growing up. He proudly served his county in the United States Air Force.

In addition to his wife of 66 years Margaret Ledford Leslie, he is survived by three children: Randy Leslie (Angie), Terri Thompson (Jimmy) and Tony Leslie (Joy); three grandchildren Heather Bannister (Derrick), Hannah Vaughn (Robert), Emily Leslie (Johannes); five great-grandchildren: Evan, Lici, Caiden, Brielle, and Cooper; five siblings: Harold Leslie (Mary Ellen), Gary Leslie, Lou Hayes (Jerry), Wilma Chappell and Betty Brown (Jimmy).

In addition to his parents, Mr. Leslie was preceded in death by his twin brother Robert Randall Leslie.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, on Wednesday February 19, 2025, in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:45 to 2:45 in the Garden Room.
