Easley – James Griffin Rising, Jr., husband of Judith Williams Rising, died Saturday, January 30, 2016. Mr. Rising was born in Cheverly, MD a son of the late James Griffin Rising, Sr. and the late Eileen Roberta Hunt Rising. He was retired from Florida Power and Light as a lineman and he was a U.S. Navy veteran during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife, Judith Rising of the home, step-son, Richard Fray (Leah) of Lexington, SC and step-daughter, Pamela DiPrima (Richard) of Easley, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving are sisters, Jackie Rising of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Judy Parkerson of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and six nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
