James "Bob" Robert Timms Jr.

James was born to the late Clara May and James Robert Timms Sr. on January 11, 1941. A member of Independent Baptist Church, he was a devout student of God's word. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved to visit at the hospital and nursing facilities.

James is survived by his son James Robert Timms III (Jill); two daughters Janese Lesley (Hank), and Tammie Pruitt; grandchildren: Bradley Brazeal, Rina Kyzer, Hope Henderson, Kati Peddie, Caleb Timms, Kaitlyn Timms, and Ashlee Brazeal; great-grandchildren: Courtney Kyzer, Noah Kyzer, Zoey Henderson, Hannah Peddie, Alex Peddie, Karley Brazeal, Konner Brazeal, and Khloe Brazeal; his two sisters Jennie McNary and Gloria Chastain (Bobby).

James was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife Ruby Pearline Timms; sister Betty Cleveland and brother Danny Timms.

A visitation for Bob will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at Dillard Memorial Funeral Home, 2402 Gentry Memorial Highway, Pickens, South Carolina. His funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. Bob will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
