John David “Johnny” Hendricks, 61, of Easley, went home to be with the Lord, peacefully at his home, on Sunday, September 11, 2016. Born on May 16, 1955, in northern Pickens County, he was the son of the late T.M. and Ruby Ellenburg Hendricks. He was employed at Towns Front End Alignment at his time of passing. Johnny enjoyed working on automobiles, riding four wheelers, and talking to his friends. Surviving are his son, John David Hendricks, Jr., of Pickens; granddaughter Lauren Hendricks and great-granddaughter Kylie of Six Mile; grandson Hayden Hendricks of Salem, SC and a brother, Tommy Hendricks. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 15, 2016, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
