Joe was a longtime member of the Easley YMCA, where he was proud to have ridden over 17,000 miles on exercise bikes, inspiring others, and making many new friends along the way. With a wealth of knowledge, skills, and experience, he was always willing to give advice or lend a helping hand, leading to a great number of friendships.
