I had the pleasure of not only serving with Justin in Afghanistan, but watching him grow as a leader within the Army. I'll always remember Justin from his smile he always carried and his thick South Carolinian drawl. He was always positive and just a blessing to be around. My fondest memories of Justin was our verbal back and forth playful jawing over college football and what conferences were better than the ACC. Justin literally wore his love for Clemson on his sleeve- also his hat. I've always had an appreciation for Justin as a Soldier, but more importantly as a person. We'll for sure miss him but thankful of the memories we all possess of him. Go Tigers...

I met SSG Stillwell five years ago, and in all the time I worked with him he never said no and always had a smile on his face. Soldiers have a hard life, but he was always ready with a story to make you laugh or a helping hand. He will be fondly missed, and we wish the best for his family in this time of loss. Today our unit held a small memorial for him.

I worked with SSG Stillwell at the 108th Training Command.  He was simply a wonderful person, professional, polite, and funny.   Everyone who met SSG Still well thought highly of him and he will be greatly missed. 
Rest In Peace Justin, you are remembered fondly.

I had the great pleasure of deploying with Justin! I regret not keeping in touch with him in the last four years! Justin you were that rock solid Soldier that we could depend on. Besides that attribute your character was pure and strong. You stood for those who didn’t have a voice and I always admired you for that! You will be forever missed little brother!!!

This is one of the hardest things ever. Can't imagine the pain for the family. I've known Justin for a long time now. I have great memories of going fishing, going with just all the way to west Virginia to trade for a car he wanted. Best man at his wedding.Justin rode all the way to Connecticut with me to help move my youngest brother back to SC. He would come over and hang out with my boys and I. Justin loved my boys like they were his own nephews. Had a great time at the Clemson ACC championship game. To his family I am very sorry for the loss. My prayers will be with you all always, especially his little boy.

I had the pleasure of working with Justin for a year and a half; in that time I got to know him well and knew how well he was raised.  Polite, helpful and well-mannered, yet quick to point out injustices and to stand up for honor.   His southern charm, values, wit and work ethic endeared him to our team, and we were happy for him but sad for us when he moved away.  He will be dearly missed, and always remembered, carried in our hearts and his name upon my rucksack on many a road march.   May God ease your pain and grant you comfort.

So devastated by this loss. Justin had become like a lil bro to me these last few years. I'm a Gamecock and he was probably my favorite Tater. We had common interest as I'm from Greenville and him from just down the road. He was very intelligent, distinguished, and very respected. I love u bro until we meet again Sarge

R.I.P. JS.. You were a great guy and we thank you for being part of our Sports Jungle . Clemson Tiger fan who was inspired to start a Group and we watched the Tigers win another championship this year.  We never met but talked a lot and I send prayers to all friends and family . Just a great guy who will be missed. 

I did not know you personally but anytime we lose a Soldier we lose a member of our family. Sending prayer , love  and support to your family. Rest easy Battle

I remember your smile and your pretty blue/gray eyes. Anytime I needed help with my computer or files you was always there.  I'm glad that I met you and I know you are heaven with your wings watching over us. My prayers are with the family.
